TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. Exclusive Photographer. The Photographer should be the exclusive professional photographer to shoot the wedding, retained by the Client . Of course Family and friends can take pictures during the wedding or reception as long as they do not interfere with the Photographer’s duties and don’t shoot poses arranged by the Photographer: anything that might disturb the photographer with timing or light.
  2. Booking Fee . The Booking fee of 20% secures the date, time and services for your wedding day and is non-refundable or transferable in the event of cancellation. All cancellations must be in writing. Weddings that are postponed to a later date will retain the fee as long as the photographer can re-schedule for the new date and time.
  3. Payments
    1. Following payment of 20% of the booking fee, balance of fees are due and to be paid as follows : 50% is expected one month before the wedding date and the remaining 30% balance is required at the end of the job (upon delivering the entire job); for additional images the payment can be made when they are ordered.
    2. The client will be responsible to pay any additional extra incurred by the photographer not already included within the contract price and they need to be covered at full cost before the journey takes place. This includes for example access fees charged by some hotels.
  4. Cancellation of services: The client may cancel their contract with the photographer at any time up to one month before the date of wedding by sending written notice or email. The photographer will reimburse the payment anything LESS than the reservation fee which remains non refundable.
  5. Copyright and Reproductions The Photographer shall own the copyright of all images and photographic materials created and shall have the exclusive right to make reproductions. The Photographer shall only make reproductions for the Client or for the Photographer’s portfolio, self-promotions, entry in photography contests or art exhibitions , advertising, editorial use, including printed materials.
  6. Negatives / Digital Files All negative/digital files remain the property of the photographer. However, the photographer will give all high resolution files to the client ready to use, on DVD/CD Rom discs, with copyright information for personal use. The digital files shall remain the property of the photographer and shall be kept by them for not less than 12 months from the wedding date
